if you insist…

Today I received a check in the mail from a clothing company for $98.

I mean, I’m not complaining or anything, but I am a little curious: I have never done any kind of business with you, clothing company.  How did you get my address?  Is this a scam?  Why are you sending me MONEY instead of an advertisement?  Why are you sending ME money rather than sending it to somebody who really really needs it?  Can I have you forward it to such a person?

So many questions.  Bottom line: getting a random check for $98 is never a bad thing (:
